Dawn

~ Dawn ~

In the morning hush, under clouds of blush
love stirs and stretches, in no rush
coffee for two, balcony with a view
just leisure kisses to pursue

Moments of glory, love's inventory
just the beginning of our story
a future to fill, with touches that thrill
endless moments where time stands still

Because you knew that our love was true
and because I am one with you
our hearts will endeavor to beat forever
as body and soul, we come together.

  1. Taking stock of this fine poem, I find so much to adhere to...

Like the inventory you subtly allude to, this relationship is potentially perpetual.
